Job summary

Decypher is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care across diverse clinical settings in a PRN onsite role. You will administer medications, monitor patients, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. Qualifications include an Associate's degree or BSN, BLS and ACLS, an active RN license, and at least 24 months of recent RN experience.

US citizenship is required. Work hours: Monday–Friday 7:30–4:30 with a 30-minute lunch.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and symptoms.
• Administer medications, wound care, and other treatments per orders.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment; respond to changes in patient status promptly.
• Maintain accurate, thorough electronic health records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Supervise and mentor LPNs, nursing assistants, and students as appropriate.

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree in nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• License: Must hold a full, current, and unrestricted license in a State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
• Experience: Have at least 24 months of experience as a Registered Nurse within the last 36 months in a primary care / clinical setting.

U.S. Citizenship is required

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality improvement standards

Work Environment & Schedule

PRNOnsite, Monday- Friday from 7:30- 4:30 with a 30-minute lunch break.

Compensation & Benefits

$ 50.00 per hour

Physical requirements

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation while providing direct patient care. Ability to safely assist with patient transfers, perform repetitive clinical tasks, and respond quickly in emergency situations is required. Manual dexterity for procedures and equipment handling.
