Responsibilities

  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and symptoms.
  • Administer medications, wound care, and other treatments per orders and protocols.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and self-care.
  • Operate medical equipment and respond to status changes promptly.
  • Maintain electronic health records and ensure HIPAA/compliance.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to coordinate care.
  • Supervise and mentor LPNs, nursing assistants, and students when appropriate.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety standards.

Job Summary

Overview Provides direct patient care, administers medications and treatments, and collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse healthcare settings.

Required Qualifications
  • Education: Associate's degree in nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • License: Must hold a full, current, and unrestricted license in a State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
  • Experience: Have at least 24 months of experience as a Registered Nurse within the last 36 months in a primary care / clinical setting.

U.S. Citizenship is required

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and symptoms
  • Administer medications, wound care, and other treatments per physician orders and nursing protocols.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
  • Operate and monitor medical equipment; respond to changes in patient status promptly
  • Maintain accurate, thorough electronic health records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and institutional policies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
  • Supervise and mentor licensed practical nurses (LPNs), nursing assistants, and students as appropriate.
  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality improvement standards
Work Environment & Schedule

PRNOnsite, Monday- Friday from 7:30- 4:30 with a 30-minute lunch break.

Compensation & Benefits

$ 50.00 per hour

Physical requirements

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation while providing direct patient care. Ability to safely assist with patient transfers, perform repetitive clinical tasks, and respond quickly in emergency situations is required. Manual dexterity for procedures and equipment handling.
