Job summary

NAFI Connecticut seeks a Behavior Technician to join the Corbin House Group Home in New Britain. You will supervise clients, help develop treatment plans, and provide counseling while maintaining professional boundaries. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, as is accurate documentation in EHR systems and participation in staff meetings.

The role offers 2nd shift hours with comprehensive benefits and equal opportunity employment. Training and certifications are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in Social Work, Health Care, Nursing, Human Services or relevant.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical practice.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and be accountable for clients at all times.
• Develop and document treatment/service plans and goals.
• Provide individual counseling and support client interpersonal skills and coping strategies.
