Job summary

Perth & Kinross Council in Scotland is seeking a Childcare Supervisor for the Scone Breakfast Kids Club. This term-time, before-school role involves managing a small staff team and delivering engaging activities for children from Primary 1 to Primary 7.

You will plan day-to-day operations, ensure high-quality care, and support children’s learning in a safe, inclusive setting. Salary £4,795–£5,135 per year, with benefits including the Local Government Pension.

Qualifications

• The role requires sensitivity, patience and compassion with a welcoming approach for children and families.
• Experience in supervising a team of professionals with strong communication to motivate staff and children.
• Ability to plan, organise and maintain registration and financial information.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the service during term-time before school care.
• Provide high-quality care and a range of stimulating activities for children P1–P7.
• Lead a small staff team and collaborate with the school to support learning and development.
