Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Farm Assessor to plan and conduct Red Tractor audits across beef, lamb and dairy sectors. The role requires empathy, strong communication, and the ability to build rapport with farmers, with a focus on compliance and certification.

You will audit against animal welfare, farm assurance, health and safety and environmental standards, reporting findings and ensuring client satisfaction. Flexible, zero-hours work paid per audit.

Qualifications

• Agriculture knowledge is beneficial and experience with agriculture areas is preferred.
• Experience with Red Tractor schemes is desirable.
• Good communication, IT and organizational skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct Red Tractor audits with focus on Beef, Lamb and Dairy.
• Deliver client training programmes and on-the-job coaching when required.
• Provide high levels of service and responsiveness to clients.
• Follow Audit Briefs and meet audit-specific requirements.
• Complete reports, handheld data capture forms and documentation for each audit.
• Progress actions promptly and report delays within agreed timescales.
