University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two Bed Managers to coordinate elective and emergency admissions, optimise bed utilisation and monitor bed flow. You will work with the Capacity Team and clinical colleagues to ensure timely access to care and safe patient movements across the Trust.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the admission of elective and emergency patients within the Trust to optimise bed use.
• Analyse bed utilisation data and support the Capacity Team to improve patient flow.
• Collaborate with wards and external partners to manage admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Identify barriers to patient flow and develop plans with escalation as needed.
• Maintain accurate bed capacity records and ensure thorough handover.
• Support with discharge planning and movement of patients between wards or hospitals.
