You will work closely with clinical and operational teams to meet performance standards, support service improvements and ensure safe, efficient care across the Trust.

• Forward-thinking and motivated operational leader with experience in hospital management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clinical, operational and corporate teams.
• Experience in leading patient flow, capacity and demand management.
• Strong communication, decision-making and escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational management of patient flow, capacity and escalation to support timely access to care.
• Coordinate responses to pressures including bed management, discharge processes and emergency care performance.
• Monitor performance against national and local standards and drive service improvement.
• Act as a link between clinical, operational and corporate teams to ensure effective communication.
• Provide visible leadership to operational teams and promote a culture of accountability and patient-centered care.
• Participate in the Senior Manager On-Call rota and lead during major incidents and continuity events.
• Develop and implement operational policies and service improvement programmes.
• Analyse data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
