A DRIVER JOB WITHOUT THE COST OF RUNNING YOUR OWN CAR

At EcoWheel Ride, you do not need to provide your own vehicle.

We provide the vehicle and take care of the main running costs.

YOUR COMPANY- PROVIDED VEHICLE INCLUDES:

Company vehicle
You drive a licensed company vehicle provided by EcoWheel Ride.

Insurance
The company covers the relevant vehicle insurance.

Fuel
Fuel costs are covered by the company.

Maintenance & servicing
Vehicle servicing, routine maintenance and vehicle-related running costs are handled by the company.

YOU DRIVE. WE TAKE CARE OF THE REST.

This means you can concentrate on what matters most:

safe driving, punctuality and looking after our customers.

There may also be opportunities for additional hours and extra work for drivers who would like to increase their working hours.

Our regular work is mainly during the daytime, making this opportunity particularly suitable for drivers who prefer daytime working.

Additional work may become available depending on operational requirements and driver availability.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As an EcoWheel Ride Private Hire Driver, your role is much more than simply driving from A to B.

You will represent EcoWheel Ride every time you collect a passenger.

Your responsibilities include:

Providing safe and professional transportation

Arriving at pickup locations on time

Providing a friendly and respectful customer experience

Driving responsibly and in accordance with UK road regulations

Looking after the company vehicle

Keeping the vehicle clean and presentable

Assisting passengers with luggage when appropriate

Following booking and dispatch instructions

Communicating professionally with customers and the EcoWheel team

Maintaining a high standard of punctuality and reliability

Our customers may include private individuals, business travellers, airport passengers, tourists and customers travelling for important appointments.

Our services include advance bookings, airport transfers, rail connections, seaport transfers, longer journeys and other pre-booked private hire services.

REQUIREMENTS

To apply for a driver position, you should have:

A valid East Devon Private Hire Driver Licence (If you don’t have the company will help you to achieve)

A valid full UK driving licence

The legal right to work in the UK

A responsible and professional approach to driving

Good communication and customer service skills

Reliability and punctuality

The ability to work independently

A willingness to follow company procedures and standards

Private Hire Driver licensing requirements must be met before you can undertake licensed private hire work for the company.
