Job summary

Pied-De-Poule, a beauty salon chain in Greater London, is seeking an administrator to handle customer communications and appointment bookings. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with clients. The position offers the opportunity for career progression into senior administration roles.

Working hours are 2 days on, 2 days off, from 8:45 to 21:15. Bonus offerings include training in management and discounts on services.

Job description

We are an international brand PIED-DE-POULE – a chain of beauty salons. Right now we’re looking for an administrator.

Qualifications

• Fascinated and mesmerised by the work of beauty salon masters.
• Enjoy building relationships with people and communicating attentively so clients become regulars.
• Possess leadership qualities and can encourage others to achieve goals.
• Pay close attention to delivering good service.
• Willing to learn and develop skills.
• Interested in working as a receptionist in a salon environment.

Responsibilities

• Take calls from customers, help them choose the right master and service, and record appointments.
• Aim to record 9 out of 10 callers.
• Receive 30 to 50 customer enquiries per day; no cold calls are required except occasional scheduled quality‑survey calls.
• Handle difficult situations calmly and solve problems professionally and discreetly.

For the most part our clients are regulars, so there will be no surprises in your work. However, you may encounter challenging situations with guests and must remain calm under pressure.

End Product of Your Work

• Create a welcoming and easy salon atmosphere felt by the client.
• Secure a satisfied client, signed up for their next visit, and change their status to a regular client.
• Manage the daily cash register.

KPI

• Percentage of client sign‑ups out of those referred.
• Daily cash register balance.
• All craftsmen are comfortable working with you.

Reporting

• Provide a brief daily report in chat.

Conditions

• Labour remuneration is discussed at the interview; includes rate + % of daily results.

Work Schedule

• 2/2 from 8:45 to 21:15 (there may be delays with clients; separate rewards can be given).
