Job summary

The Very Group in Liverpool is seeking an ambitious Assistant Merchandiser for its fast-growing Beauty team. You will support range planning, forecasting, and stock management to ensure the right products are available at the right time and maximize commercial performance.

You will work closely with the Merchandiser and Buying teams to analyze data, deliver weekly and seasonal trading insights, and help launch exclusive opportunities with major brands.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical capability with commercial awareness.
• Excellent numerical skills and ability to interpret large data sets.
• Forecasting, stock management and trading analysis experience would be ideal.
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with planning and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Support range and assortment planning, including forecasting and maintaining range plans.
• Deliver weekly, monthly and seasonal trading analysis with recommendations.
• Manage in-season stock, intake and order books for global beauty brands.
• Monitor product performance, availability and sell-through to drive sales and improve customer experience.
• Collaborate with Buying and brand partners on launches, exclusives, and events.
• Analyze customer trends and market dynamics to influence category strategies.
• Build relationships across Buying, Operations and Supplier partners to hit growth plans.
