Job summary

Nescot is seeking a part-time (0.8) Beauty Lecturer to teach ITEC beauty courses from L1 to L3 for both 16-19-year-olds and adults, at our modern beauty salons on campus. The role is a fixed-term maternity cover until March 2027, or until the postholder returns, whichever is sooner.

Applicants should hold a Full Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (Level 4 advantageous) and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Teaching experience is desirable but not essential.

• Full Level 3 in Beauty Therapy including facial and body electricals and spa treatments.

Responsibilities

• Teach and assess on a range of ITEC beauty courses ranging from L1 to L3 to both 16-19-year-olds and to adult learners.
• Maintain registers and course administration
• Prepare learning materials and mark units that you have been teaching/assessing on
• Participate in staff development as applicable

What We Are Looking For

• An enthusiastic, passionate and industry aware beauty lecturer to teach in our state-of-the-art beauty salons.
• Full Level 3 in Beauty Therapy including facial and body electricals and spa treatments (Level 4 qualification is advantageous)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and dedication to providing our students with the best possible teaching and learning experience to ensure that they achieve their qualifications
• Previous teaching experience would be desirable but not essential.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Teach and assess on a range of ITEC beauty courses ranging from L1 to L3 to both 16-19-year-olds and to adult learners.
