Job summary

Nescot is seeking an enthusiastic beauty lecturer for a part-time (0.8) maternity cover position until March 2027 or until the postholder returns. You will teach ITEC beauty courses (L1-L3) to 16-19 year olds and adults, with strong emphasis on practical skills and student success.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential. Full Level 3 in Beauty Therapy is required, including facial/body electricals and spa treatments; Level 4 is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Full Level 3 in Beauty Therapy including facial and body electricals and spa treatments.

Responsibilities

• Teach and assess on a range of ITEC beauty courses ranging from L1 to L3 to both 16-19-year-olds and to adult learners.
• Maintain registers and course administration
• Prepare learning materials and mark units that you have been teaching/assessing on
• Participate in staff development as applicable

What we are looking for

• An enthusiastic, passionate and industry aware beauty lecturer to teach in our state-of-the-art beauty salons.
• Full Level 3 in Beauty Therapy including facial and body electricals and spa treatments (Level 4 qualification is advantageous)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and dedication to providing our students with the best possible teaching and learning experience to ensure that they achieve their qualifications
• Previous teaching experience would be desirable but not essential.
