Job summary

Nescot is seeking a Beauty Lecturer for maternity cover on a part-time basis (0.8) to teach ITEC beauty courses from L1 to L3 at our state-of-the-art salons. You will handle registers and course administration and prepare learning materials, marking the units you teach.

Applicants should have Full Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (Level 4 advantageous) and strong communication skills. Teaching experience is desirable but not essential, with a supportive campus environment in Ewell, close to Epsom.

Beauty Lecturer - Maternity Cover

Part time (0.8) / Fixed term maternity cover until March 2027, or when the postholder returns, whichever is sooner

What we are looking for:

• An enthusiastic, passionate and industry aware beauty lecturer to teach in our state‑of‑the‑art beauty salons.
• Full Level 3 in Beauty Therapy including facial and body electricals and spa treatments (Level 4 qualification is advantageous)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and dedication to providing our students with the best possible teaching and learning experience to ensure that they achieve their qualifications
• Previous teaching experience would be desirable but not essential.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Teach and assess on a range of ITEC beauty courses ranging from L1 to L3 to both 16–19-year-olds and to adult learners.
• Maintain registers and course administration
• Prepare learning materials and mark units that you have been teaching/assessing on
• Participate in staff development as applicable
