Job summary

SBSJ is seeking a dedicated Inclusion Mentor at our Bradford campus. You will work with students to support behavioural standards through one-to-one and small group mentoring, under supervision, and provide administrative support to enable day-to-day college operations.

You will support teachers by delivering work, care and support programmes, manage students in the Inclusion provision and in the classroom to boost engagement and progress.

• Manage students in the Inclusion provision and in the classroom to enhance their engagement with learning, promote their enjoyment of College and secure appropriate outcomes.

Job description

• Working with the Radiate team, and as part of the wider Inclusion provision, the role is to support students to achieve the highest standards of behaviour across the College through one to one and small group mentoring, assuming appropriate supervisory duties and providing the necessary administrative assistance to enable the effective day to day operations contained within the College Behaviour policy.
• To support teachers and other professionals by implementing work, care and support programmes with students to enable them to continue learning and making good progress in College.
• To manage students in the Inclusion provision and in the classroom to enhance their engagement with learning, promote their enjoyment of College and secure appropriate outcomes.
