Job summary

THE PIG on the Beach currently seeks a Deputy General Manager to lead hotel operations, ensuring exceptional standards across all departments. You will support the Hotel Director, manage daily running of the hotel, and drive staff development in a growing group that promotes internal progression.

With a focus on premium casual dining and a daily changing menu sourced from kitchen garden produce, the role offers a path to progression and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Significant and demonstrable experience within a hospitality management role.
• Experience and knowledge across high-volume or premium casual dining restaurants is a must.

Responsibilities

• Be present on the floor, working closely with all staff to drive excellent standards across all departments.
• Encourage training & development, cross-training and employee enrolment on apprenticeship and development programmes.
• Have an analytical view with regards to costs, budgeting, room rates, revenue and property projects and developments.
• Deputise in all tasks in absence of the Hotel Director.
