Job summary

The University of Lancashire is seeking an outstanding academic clinician to lead our Bachelor of Dental Surgery (International) programme. This role provides strategic and operational leadership across the BDSi curriculum, with responsibility for academic quality and regulatory compliance.

You will be a GDC-registered dentist with extensive experience in dental education and academic leadership, delivering an excellent student experience and developing future professionals through collaboration

Qualifications

• GDC registered dentist with significant experience in dental education and academic leadership.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams within a complex academic environment.
• Strong curriculum management, QA, and alignment with professional regulation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the BDSi programme.
• Lead curriculum delivery and enhancement across clinical education networks.
• Oversee quality assurance, student progression, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with NHS partners and external stakeholders to meet GDC standards.
• Support staff and students and contribute to research, scholarship and knowledge exchange.
