Job summary

EVera Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Laboratory Technician (Manufacturing) to support lithium-sulfur battery material development in a fast-paced lab. You will perform experiments, analyze data, and collaborate with engineering to meet milestones.

You will design procedures, manufacture electrode slurries, operate equipment, and present results while maintaining SOPs and safe lab practices to enable scalable production.

Qualifications

• Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working in a scientific laboratory setting.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop a broad range of technical skills.
• Familiarity with coating manufacture, mixing, and formulation design (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Develop and support the advancement of lithium-sulfur battery materials.
• Design and execute experimental procedures and routine testing.
• Manufacture and characterise electrode slurries and coatings.
• Operate and maintain laboratory and scale-up equipment.
• Present experimental results to management and project teams.
• Maintain standard operating procedures and ensure safe lab practices.
