Job summary

Candidate Source is recruiting a Bathroom Fitter to join a family-owned building company on a permanent basis in the United Kingdom. The role offers a salary around £40,000 per year (negotiable) with a company van, pension, and overtime opportunities.

You will mainly perform domestic insurance repair work, ensuring high standards, safety on site, and customer satisfaction. Duties include removal of bathrooms, plumbing and installation of new suites, tiling, pipework, and joinery.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance re-instatement is advantageous.
• Proven track record in a similar role within occupied domestic environments.
• Qualified and competent to trades standards.

Responsibilities

• Remove existing bathrooms and fixtures.
• Plumb and install new bathroom suites and fittings.
• Carry out tiling and associated pipework.
• Undertake 1st and 2nd fix joinery as required.

Job description

A successful family-owned building company specialising in insurance repairs is looking for a highly skilled Bathroom Fitter to join the team on a permanent basis due to an increase in work.

Along with a salary of £40,000 per annum (negotiable), you will receive a pension scheme, company van and overtime opportunities (paid at time and a half).

What you'll be doing as Bathroom Fitter

You will be responsible for completing primarily domestic insurance repair works as per the job card instructions. You will complete works to a high standard efficiently, maintaining health and safety on site, liaising with other trades and customer satisfaction. Duties will include:

• The removal of bathrooms
• Plumbing and installation of new bathroom suites
• Tiling
• Pipework
• Joinery

What we're looking for in a Bathroom Fitter

• Experience on insurance re-instatement would be an advantage.
• Demonstrable proven track record in a similar role working in occupied domestic environment.
• Qualified, suitable to the trade.
• Experience in installation/removal of bathrooms.
• Tiling experience.Pipework experience.
