Job summary

Puratos Buckingham is seeking a Batching Operative to prepare batches in line with daily production plans, with a strong focus on food safety and allergen control. The role involves working closely with the Batching and Production Team Leaders to ensure compliance with SOPs and quality standards.

You will manage raw materials, record-keeping in SAP, and support audits including BRC while maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.

• Prepare batches according to SOPs and daily production plans.
• Maintain 100% allergen control and prevent cross-contamination.
• Complete quality and traceability checks (electronic and paper-based).

• Coordinate the supply of raw materials, pallets, and consumables.
• Maintain accurate records in SAP.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and elevate issues when needed.
• Support high-profile visits and audits including BRC.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and R&D teams to support trials and resolve non-conformances.
• Uphold health and safety and food safety standards at all times.
