Job summary

AWD online is seeking a Production Operative in Reigate for full-time, permanent work with standard hours Monday to Friday. This role supports a busy production environment, focusing on equipment operation, product preparation, packaging and food safety compliance.

You will follow daily production schedules, assist with ingredient handling, and help maintain clean, safe, and compliant working areas under HACCP and allergen controls.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Good eye for detail and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and follow production, quality, hygiene and safety procedures.
• Able to work well in a team to meet production and packing targets.
• Comfortable with hands-on production, packaging, cleaning and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment used in mixing, baking, cooling and preparing snack products.
• Follow daily production schedules and batch instructions for consistency.
• Assist with measuring, staging and preparing ingredients for production.
• Monitor the production line for quality and performance issues.
• Assist with filling, sealing, labelling and boxing finished products.
• Set up and restock packaging materials on machines.
• Check finished products for correct weight, seal, labelling and appearance.
• Carry out basic checks and cleaning on production equipment.
• Complete production logs, batch records and quality checks.
• Clean and sanitise work areas and equipment per HACCP standards.
