Job summary

LOCALiQ, part of Newsquest Media Group, is seeking a driven Telesales Consultant to join our Basildon team. You will engage business owners by phone, understand their goals, and tailor advertising solutions to deliver measurable results.

Qualifications

• Experience in outbound sales or telesales is preferred.
• Willingness to work Monday to Friday during standard office hours.
• Based within commuting distance of Basildon office.
• Comfortable in a target-driven environment with KPI focus.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new business through proactive outbound calling and prospecting.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline from initial contact to close.
• Understand client objectives and recommend appropriate advertising solutions.
• Achieve and exceed monthly revenue targets, KPIs and activity metrics.
• Manage and grow existing client accounts and maximise retention.
• Build long-term relationships with business owners and decision-makers through regular contact.
• Present LOCALiQ's digital and print advertising solutions clearly and persuasively.
• Handle objections and negotiate to secure new opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and campaign delivery.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of activity and pipeline progression.
• Stay informed on market trends and developments in LOCALiQ portfolio.
