Adore Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Branch Manager in Basildon, Essex. The role involves owning the Basildon site, leading a small team, and maintaining high service levels while managing day-to-day operations.

The role offers a £45,000 salary with a performance-based bonus, and a Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm schedule. This is a hands-on, strategic leadership position within a friendly team, with real opportunities to impact branch performance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a branch/depot/warehouse/trade counter or similar.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Proactive and hands-on approach to work.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Good commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and business systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily activities of the branch, ensuring everything runs efficiently.
• Lead, motivate and support a small team.
• Build strong relationships with customers and maintain high service levels.
• Oversee stock control and general branch administration.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive branch performance.
• Recruit, train and develop employees when required.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed throughout the branch.
• Work closely with senior management to help achieve business objectives.
• Responsibility for branch P&L, budgeting and forecasting.
• Commercially focused with the ability to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
• Support marketing and business development initiatives to increase sales and market presence.
• Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, growth and operational efficiency.
