Job summary

Barclays in Glasgow is seeking an experienced AVP to support the Basel IV Programme Management Office. You will assist Change Delivery Managers, ensure governance and controls are robust, and help align projects with strategic objectives.

Coordinating with stakeholders and delivering clear reporting, you will contribute to the timely execution of a major regulatory programme while developing enhancements to project management practices.

Qualifications

• Instinctive and deep understanding of governance and how it strengthens delivery of the programme
• Successful stakeholder management with ability to communicate requirements succinctly
• Capable of using reporting tools to communicate status to forums and ad hoc needs

Responsibilities

• Support Change Delivery Managers to ensure programme compliance with Barclays controls framework
• Create and implement standard PMO processes aligned with governance standards
• Monitor project performance, risks, issues, and dependencies; report status to senior management
• Maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and documentation; ensure accuracy and up-to-date information
• Facilitate governance to align projects with strategic objectives and manage risks
• Provide change management framework training to project managers and stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement of project management practices
