TOCA Social UK Limited in London is seeking a Bartender to join our vibrant Westfield White City venue. You will greet guests, craft drinks to TOCA standards, recommend options, and ensure a warm, memorable guest journey while maintaining clean, welcoming bars.

We offer 16+ hours weekly with both part-time and full-time roles. Responsibilities include delivering top-quality service, supporting other departments when needed, and learning across the venue to support career progression at TOCA

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in crafting drinks, including cocktails.
• Must be at least 18 years old due to working with alcohol.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and supporting guests to provide a best-in-class experience.
• Provide warm, welcoming service and deliver memorable experiences.
• Create drinks to TOCA Social standards and confidently recommend options.
• Support barbacks when necessary and take guest orders.
• Coach junior teammates and maintain clean, presentable bar areas.
• Follow health, safety and allergy procedures and manage transactions efficiently.

Job Highlights:

Reports to: Bar & Hospitality Manager

Hours Required: Part Time and Full Time roles available. Candidates must be flexible to work evenings and weekends.

The dynamic role of a Bartender means no 2 days are the same at TOCA Social! You are responsible for bringing together multiple elements of our guests' journey to deliver memorable experiences! We’re passionate about training and developing all our teammates to support their career progression and help them become legends, so you may receive training within other departments to support the venue as and when necessary!

Role Scope & Responsibilities:

• Greeting & supporting guests through their journey to provide a best in class experience
• Having a warm and welcoming approach towards guests; a willingness and desire to make people happy and deliver genuine and memorable experiences
• Creating delicious drinks to TOCA Social standards
• Confidently provide knowledge and drink recommendations
• Supporting Barbacks as and when necessary
• Taking guest orders, delivering drinks and checking in with guests
• Coaching junior members of the team to become legends
• Being aware of legal regulations; including verifying guest age when necessary through ID checks
• Walking guests through our F&B offering and making recommendations
• Having an eye for opportunity to exceed expectations in a positive, surprising and delightful manner
• Ensuring guest facing areas are clean, presentable and clear
• Assisting guests with transactions in an efficient & timely manner, being accountable for all transactions
• Proving clear and concise communication to teammates to minimise disruption to guests
• Ensuring all items/stock are replenished and available to guests
• Following all health & safety and allergy procedures
• Being flexible in covering a range of duties in line with business needs when required

Qualifications & Experience:

• A quick learner with the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Passionate about delivering top quality experiences
• Someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in (and help out other departments and teammates)
• Minimum of 1 year experience in crafting drinks, including cocktails
• Someone who is at least 18 years old due to working with alcohol
