Job summary

TOCA Social is seeking a Bar Back at Westfield White City. You will help run the heart of house operations, support the bar team, and deliver memorable experiences for guests. This role offers opportunities to train in other departments and progress as the venue expands.

You’ll work evenings and weekends, with both part-time and full-time shifts available. A dynamic, energetic environment awaits you, where every shift brings new challenges and chances to grow.

Responsibilities

Job Highlights

Reports to: Bar & Hospitality Manager

Hours Required: Part Time and Full Time roles available. Candidates must be flexible to work evenings and weekends and across the festive and New Years period.

The dynamic role of a Barback means no 2 days are the same at TOCA Social! You are responsible for bringing together multiple elements of our guests' journey together to deliver memorable experiences! We’re passionate about training and developing all our teammates to support their career progression and help them become legends, so you may receive training within other departments to support the venue as and when necessary!

Role Scope & Responsibilities

We’re looking for an energetic and engaging Bar Back who will help to ensure the smooth running of our heart of house operations whilst creating exceptional guest memories in our venue. Some of your responsibilities include:

• Greeting & supporting guests through their journey to provide a best in class experience
• Having an eye for opportunity to exceed expectations in a positive, surprising and delightful manner
• Ensuring guest facing areas are clean and presentable at all times
• Proving clear and concise communication to teammates to minimise disruption to guests
• Ensuring all items/stock are replenished and available to guests and teammates
• Supporting our bar teams and Leaders as and when necessary
• Following all health & safety and allergy procedures
• Being flexible in covering a range of duties in line with business needs when required
• Coaching junior members of the team to become legends
