Job summary

Fortnum & Mason plc is seeking a full-time Bartender for Heathrow Terminal 3. You will deliver exceptional drinks and service, maintain bar operations, and contribute to a welcoming guest experience in a premium setting.

You will prepare cocktails, wines and beverages to brand standards, manage orders and payments via POS, and collaborate with a busy front-of-house team while upholding health and safety and stock control.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bartender or in a customer-facing hospitality role.
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with guests.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits and beverage service is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
• Prepare and serve a range of beverages, including cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, teas, and soft drinks to Fortnum & Mason standards.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of our drinks menu and provide recommendations to customers.
• Ensure all beverages are prepared and presented consistently and efficiently.
• Handle customer orders and payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all health and safety standards are adhered to.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock replenishment and inventory management.
• Work collaboratively with the wider front-of-house team to deliver a seamless guest experience.
