Somewhere by Nico in Glasgow is recruiting Bartender & Server to join our team at 358 Byres Road, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, G12 8AW. You will mix cocktails, serve guests and guide them through six-stage storytelling experiences, delivering memorable hospitality behind the bar and at tables.

We seek hospitality professionals with bartending or restaurant service experience, a passion for cocktails, and a friendly, proactive approach.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and serve cocktails and other drinks to recipes and standards.
• Welcome guests, take orders and deliver attentive food & drinks service.
• Guide guests through the six-stage cocktail experience & tell the stories behind drinks.
• Build knowledge of each menu, ingredients, flavours and allergens.
• Work with colleagues to ensure each stage is delivered smoothly and at the right pace.
• Maintain clean, organised bar and service areas; stock management.
• Process orders and payments accurately; assist with stock deliveries.

Somewhere by Nico is an innovative cocktail bar redefining the bar experience through storytelling, multi-sensory mixology and immersive experiences. Every six weeks, we introduce a six-stage cocktail experience inspired by a new themed world. With storytelling at the heart of the experience, guests become adventurers and our team become their guides, bringing each chapter to life through carefully crafted drinks and engaging service. We are currently recruiting for Bartenders & Servers to join our team at Somewhere.

The role

This is a combined role, working both behind the bar and serving guests at their tables. You’ll prepare and serve cocktails, guide guests through each stage of the experience and bring the stories behind our drinks to life. We’re looking for passionate hospitality professionals with experience in bartending, table service or both, who are keen to develop their skills across all aspects of the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails and other drinks consistently to our recipes and presentation standards.


• Welcome guests, take orders and deliver attentive food and drinks service.


• Guide guests through the six-stage cocktail experience, sharing the stories behind each drink.


• Build your knowledge of each new menu, including ingredients, flavours and allergens.


• Work closely with colleagues to ensure each stage is delivered smoothly and at the right pace.


• Maintain clean, organised and well-stocked bar and service areas.


• Support stock deliveries, storage, rotation and stocktakes.


• Process orders and payments accurately.Support new team members and contribute to a welcoming team environment.

• Experience in bartending, restaurant service or a similar hospitality role.


• An interest in cocktails and a willingness to develop your mixology skills.


• Confidence working both behind the bar and on the floor in a busy, high-end environment.


• A passion for food, drinks and memorable guest experiences.

• A willingness to learn, support colleagues and get involved wherever needed.
