Job summary

Eastlands Venue Services Limited is recruiting a part-time Bartender for Medlock Square, a vibrant hospitality destination near Manchester's Etihad Campus. You will deliver great drinks and friendly service in a fast-paced setting, supporting events and busy shifts.

You will work evenings, weekends, and event days, preparing cocktails, beer and soft drinks, keeping the bar stocked and clean, and maintaining brand standards while collaborating with bar and floor teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bartender or Bar Team Member.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and team-focused approach.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve drinks to a high standard, including cocktails, spirits, beer, and soft drinks.
• Deliver friendly, professional service to all guests.
• Maintain speed, accuracy, and consistency during busy service periods.
• Keep the bar clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout service.
• Follow brand and venue standards for drink quality and presentation.
• Ensure correct bar setup and close-down procedures.
• Follow licensing laws and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Maintain hygiene, health & safety standards at all times.
• Use equipment safely and correctly.
• Work closely with the bar and floor teams to ensure smooth service.
• Support senior bartenders and supervisors as required.
• Be flexible and supportive during event and high‑volume shifts.

About the role

As a Bartender, you’ll deliver great drinks and friendly, efficient service in a fast‑paced hospitality environment. You’ll work behind the bar preparing and serving beverages while creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every guest.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in quality and presentation, and thrives during busy service periods, including events.

You will be responsible for:

Bar Service

Team Support

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Essential

• Previous experience as a Bartender or Bar Team Member
