Job summary

Lenny's - MJMK Restaurants in London is opening a new pizzeria on Henrietta Street in Covent Garden. We’re seeking a Bartender to join the opening team, making drinks with pace, precision and warmth, and delivering memorable service behind the bar.

The role requires prior bar experience in busy settings, a passion for drinks and hospitality, and the ability to guide guests through the menu. Salary is £15.50–£16.50 per hour; full-time hours and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience behind a bar in a busy, quality restaurant or bar.
• A genuine passion for drinks, cocktails, and hospitality.
• The confidence to talk guests through the menu, including allergens.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, and cocktail making.
• A calm, organised head when service gets busy.
• A sharp eye for the small touches that make a drink memorable.
• A team first attitude and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
• A hunger to learn, grow, and take real pride in your craft.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and festive periods.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Head Bartender to keep pace sharp and quality high.
• Handle guest requests and feedback with warmth, and make every visit to the bar feel special.
• Support with deliveries, stock rotation, and storage so the bar runs smoothly.
• Follow licensing, allergen, and food safety procedures at all times.
• Back the wider team through the busy moments and celebrate the wins together.

Location: Henrietta Street, Covent Garden, site based, WC2E, London. . . . Lenny’s is a new pizzeria on Henrietta Street in Covent Garden, from Max Lewis and MJMK Restaurants. The result of Max’s extensive travels to New Haven, Connecticut, it is built around pizzas that are crispy, chewy and charred, a revival of his much-loved pop-up now finding a permanent home in the heart of Covent Garden. We’re building the opening team now.. . We're looking for a Bartender to join the opening team at Lenny's, making and serving drinks with pace, precision and warmth. You'll be part of what makes every visit to the bar feel personal, from the first order to the last round.. . This role suits someone who loves being behind the bar, thrives under pace, and takes pride in getting every drink right. You'll work closely with the Head Bartender and floor team to keep service flowing smoothly all night.. . This is a hands-on role for someone ready to help build something from the ground up.. .
