Responsibilities

• Support section chefs with prep, cooking and plating during service.
• Learn and follow recipes so every dish is consistent.
• Keep section clean, organised and stocked throughout the shift.
• Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and storage.
• Follow food safety and allergen procedures on every shift.
• Assist with cleaning down and closing checks at the end of service.

Location: Henrietta Street, Covent Garden, site based, WC2E, London. . . . Lenny’s is a new pizzeria on Henrietta Street in Covent Garden, from Max Lewis and MJMK Restaurants. The result of Max’s extensive travels to New Haven, Connecticut, it is built around pizzas that are crispy, chewy and charred, a revival of his much-loved pop-up now finding a permanent home in the heart of Covent Garden. We’re building the opening team now.. . We're looking for a Commis Chef to join the opening kitchen team at Lenny's, learning the ropes of a busy, quality-led kitchen from the ground up. You'll support the section chefs in keeping every pizza and dish consistent, service after service.. . This role suits someone early in their career who's keen to learn, takes instruction well, and wants to build a career in professional kitchens. You'll work closely with the Junior Sous Chef and Sous Chef, picking up skills and setting the standard for the future.. . This is a hands-on, section-focused role, full of energy from the moment the doors open..
