Job summary

The Ivy Collection in York is seeking a charismatic Bartender to join our dynamic team. You will welcome guests, take drink orders, recommend beverages, and create exquisite cocktails while handling payments and maintaining bar standards.

This role offers an hourly wage with troncs, 20 hours minimum contract, and career development opportunities through our Management Career Development Program.

Qualifications

• Experience crafting exquisite cocktails.
• Excellent guest service and communication.
• Knowledge of drink legislation and food safety.
• Confident with cash handling and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers, taking drinks orders, making recommendations and serving exquisite drinks.
• Supervising barbacks and ensuring compliance with drink legislation and hygiene standards.
• Handling financial transactions and ensuring accuracy of the till.

Key elements of your role as Bartender

will include welcoming customers, taking drinks orders, making recommendations, preparing, and serving exquisite drinks. You're confident handling financial transactions, supervising barbacks and keeping abreast of all drink legislation, food safety and hygiene best practices.
