Job summary

The Chalk Freehouse in Chelsea, part of the Tom Kerridge Group, is seeking a confident Bartender to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service and create a lively atmosphere.

You will be responsible for a range of drinks, supporting the front of house team, and ensuring high standards of presentation and cleanliness behind the bar.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience is preferred, but attitude and willingness to learn are valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beers, wines, spirits and cocktails.
• Provide warm, engaging service to guests.

We’re looking for a Bartender to join the team at The Chalk Freehouse in Chelsea, part of the Tom Kerridge Group.

Located just off King’s Road, The Chalk is a vibrant, characterful freehouse bringing together great food, excellent drinks and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking for a confident and enthusiastic bartender who enjoys creating a great experience for every guest.

About the role

As a Bartender at The Chalk, you’ll be at the heart of the action, delivering friendly and knowledgeable service while helping to create a lively atmosphere.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Preparing and serving a range of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails
• Providing warm, engaging and knowledgeable service to our guests
• Taking orders and ensuring drinks are prepared and served efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness and organisation behind the bar
• Supporting the wider front of house team throughout service
• Keeping on top of stock, glassware and bar supplies
• Ensuring the bar is fully prepared before service and left clean and organised afterwards
• Following all licensing, health and safety and company procedures

• A strong team player who enjoys working alongside others
• Well presented, organised and reliable
• Keen to learn and develop their knowledge of drinks and hospitality
• Previous bartending experience is preferred, but we’re happy to consider the right person with a great attitude and willingness to learn
