Job summary

The Chalk Freehouse in Chelsea is seeking a Bartender to join the Tom Kerridge Group team. You’ll be at the heart of service, crafting drinks and delivering a warm, engaging guest experience.

You’ll handle beers, wines, cocktails; work in a busy environment; maintain bar standards; support front-of-house; and follow licensing and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Friendly, confident and engaging with guests.
• Passionate about great drinks and hospitality.
• Able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Prev. bartending experience preferred, but attitude matters.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a range of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails.
• Provide warm, engaging and knowledgeable service to our guests.
• Take orders and ensure drinks are prepared and served efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and organisation behind the bar.
• Support the wider front of house team throughout service.
• Keep stock, glassware and bar supplies organized.
• Ensure the bar is prepared before service and cleaned afterwards.
• Follow licensing, health and safety and company procedures.

We’re looking for a Bartender to join the team at The Chalk Freehouse in Chelsea, part of the Tom Kerridge Group.

Located just off King’s Road, The Chalk is a vibrant, characterful freehouse bringing together great food, excellent drinks and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking for a confident and enthusiastic bartender who enjoys creating a great experience for every guest.

About the role

As a Bartender at The Chalk, you’ll be at the heart of the action, delivering friendly and knowledgeable service while helping to create a lively atmosphere.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Preparing and serving a range of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails
• Providing warm, engaging and knowledgeable service to our guests
• Taking orders and ensuring drinks are prepared and served efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness and organisation behind the bar
• Supporting the wider front of house team throughout service
• Keeping on top of stock, glassware and bar supplies
• Ensuring the bar is fully prepared before service and left clean and organised afterwards
• Following all licensing, health and safety and company procedures
