Searcys is opening an exciting new venue in one of London's most iconic, historic spaces this year and is seeking a talented Bartender to join the team.

As a Bartender at Searcys, you will assist the Bar Supervisor in managing the Private Members Club at the National Gallery, craft stylish signature cocktails, deliver exceptional service to our guests, and serve an extensive wine and champagne selection curated by our Head of Champagne.

The role will be based in the newly refurbished Sainsbury's wing at The National Gallery. Searcys is proud to collaborate with the renowned Michelin-starred Chef Giorgio Locatelli on this project.

The Bartender will oversee the bar area, support the team in delivering outstanding service, maintain drink and service standards, and drive sales through upselling and fostering guest loyalty.

Salary: £14.85 per hour including Tronc.

Working schedule: 5 days over 7, with gallery hours from 10-6, and Fridays until 9.

Responsibilities:

• Passion for food and drinks!
• Manage the beverage offerings, including cocktails, beers, garnishes, and non-alcoholic options.
• Maintain service and operational standards, utilizing best practices and efficiencies.
• Assist with cocktail list updates, focusing on innovation, GP, and stock control.
• Build relationships with guests, team members, and clients.
• Act as a brand ambassador with professionalism and courtesy.
• Enhance staff productivity and efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and positivity in all interactions.
• Aim to leave lasting impressions through professional and enthusiastic service.
• Require 1-2 years of bartending experience.
• Strong beverage knowledge is essential.
• Desirable: passion for coffee.
