Responsibilities

Tasks

• Clean the bar area and wash glassware
• Hire and dismiss staff
• Supervise food and beverage servers and other staff
• Train staff
• Collect payments via cash, credit/debit cards, or other methods
• Order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of supplies
• Enforce provincial/territorial liquor laws and regulations
• Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
