Aethos in London Shoreditch is seeking a friendly Bartender to delight guests at the Mitsu bar and restaurant. You’ll deliver exceptional service, craft cocktails, and help create a welcoming atmosphere in a high-energy setting.

With a focus on guest experience, you will greet guests, take orders, and ensure smooth bar operations from opening to close, while keeping up with a fast-paced, vibrant environment that blends East London energy with East Tokyo influence.

Qualifications

• Ideally you would have previous restaurant experience in a boutique hotel, fine dining restaurant, or cocktail lounge/bar.
• Have an open and approachable manner and thrive on interacting with people.
• Have great communication skills, a sense of humour and a welcoming smile.
• An understanding of what it takes to provide outstanding levels of guest service.
• An eye for detail and be immaculately presented.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional quality service to guests in a quick and efficient manner in line with hotel and brand standards.
• Able to organize and orchestrate the opening, operation, and closing of the Bar Lounge.
• A good working knowledge of all beverage products - particularly wine, liquor, and signature cocktails as well as a good working knowledge of all food products. (Excellent training will be given!)
• Greet guests, take orders, serve and take payment in line with Mitsu philosophy and standards.
• Read tables and understand guest needs and dislikes.

THE ROLE

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for wowing our guests with exceptional service and making them feel at home in our Aethosbar and Restaurant.

Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:

• Provide exceptional quality service to guests in a quick and efficient manner in line with hotel and brand standards

ABOUT YOU

• Ideally you would have previous restaurant experience with the ability to engage and connect with a wide range of guests from different backgrounds, ideally gained in a similar ‘Lifestyle’ boutique hotel, destination fine dining restaurant or cocktail lounge/bar.
• Have an open and approachable manner and thrive on interacting with people
• Have great communication skills, a sense of humour and a welcoming smile
• An understanding of what it takes to provide outstanding levels of guest service
• An eye for detail and be immaculately presented
