Hyatt's Great Scotland Yard Hotel, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, is seeking a skilled Bartender to deliver exceptional bar service in 40 Elephants and Sibin Whisky Lounge. You will craft beverages with knowledge of ingredients, presentation and technique, while maintaining cleanliness and stock control in a luxury setting.

You will thrive in a fast-paced, guest‑facing role and work closely with the team to maximise guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as bartender in luxury hotel or high-end bar.
• Excellent knowledge of beverages, cocktails and service standards.
• Strong teamwork, attention to detail and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and engaging bar service, creating memorable guest experiences in 40 Elephants and Sibin Whisky Lounge.
• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages with knowledge of ingredients, presentation, and techniques.
• Support bar setup and ensure all preparations are completed prior to service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation across the bar area.
• Monitor stock levels, requisition supplies, and ensure correct storage of all bar products.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations and maximise guest satisfaction.
• Drive sales opportunities and promote the bar’s concept through knowledgeable recommendations.

Duties and responsibilities related to the Bartender role:

About you

You are a passionate and service-focused individual with previous experience in a bartender role, ideally within a luxury hotel or high-end bar environment. You have excellent knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and service standards, and take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
