About the Job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London within the F&B Division the Bartender is responsible for ensuring complete guest satisfaction during their experience at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London by providing great knowledge of beverage services to meet and exceed our guests & residents expectations.

Responsibilities

• Training and coaching other bar staff on beverage preparation, recipes and standards.
• Leading and communicating with colleagues during the bar operation.
• Following the production sequence of all beverage products and bar sequence of service.
• Achieving service and product delivery standards with a high degree of client care and service at all times.
• Being responsible for the set‑up and operation of the bar station/section.
• Having excellent knowledge of all food and beverage items served in the bars.
• Providing services for guests such as order taking and promoting the outlet’s food and beverage offerings.
• Recommending and preparing wine, cocktail and spirit choices for the guest.

Shift & Flexibility

Working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 40 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
