Job summary

Delano London is preparing for its highly anticipated opening in late 2026, bringing a luxury hospitality experience to London under the Ennismore umbrella. We are seeking an exceptional Bartender to join the pre-opening team, primarily in Rose Bar and supporting beverage service across the F&B operation.

• Experience in premium bars, restaurants, luxury hotels or high-quality venues.
• Solid cocktail knowledge and willingness to learn.
• Engaging with guests while staying attentive to the bar.
• Calm, fast, accurate under busy service.
• Strong communication with bar and floor teams.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and key hospitality moments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, beers, spirits, coffees and non-alcoholic drinks to recipe standards.
• Engage guests at the bar with warmth and recommendations.
• Build knowledge of beverage offer, ingredients, brands and prep methods.
• Do mise en place, garnishes, batching and bar setup.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation throughout the shift.
• Coordinate with floor team to manage drink tickets and service times.
• Follow stock rotation, wastage procedures and report shortages.
• Handle POS transactions per company procedures.
• Support tastings, menu launches, events and activations and contribute ideas.
• Support other F&B outlets when required with same standards.

Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Bartender to join the pre-opening team of Delano London. Working primarily in Rose Bar and supporting beverage service across the wider Food & Beverage operation, you'll combine great drinks with natural hospitality, creating memorable guest moments without ever making the experience feel overworked or scripted.

What you'll do...

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, beers, spirits, coffees and non-alcoholic drinks consistently to recipe and presentation standards.
• Welcome and engage guests at the bar with warmth, confidence and personality, making recommendations based on their tastes and the occasion.
• Build strong knowledge of the full beverage offer, ingredients, brands, allergens and preparation methods.
• Complete daily mise en place, garnishes, batching and bar set-up to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Maintain excellent cleanliness, organisation, glassware and presentation throughout the shift.
• Work closely with the floor team to manage drink tickets accurately and maintain strong service times.
• Follow correct stock rotation, requisition and wastage procedures and report shortages or quality issues promptly.
• Handle POS transactions and payments accurately in line with company procedures.
• Support tastings, menu launches, events and activations and contribute ideas that can improve the guest experience.
• Support other Food & Beverage outlets when required, bringing the same standards and collaborative approach.
• Follow licensing, responsible alcohol service, food safety and Health & Safety requirements at all times.

Qualifications

What we're looking for...

• You have previous bartending experience in a premium bar, restaurant, luxury hotel or high-quality lifestyle venue.
• You have solid cocktail and beverage knowledge and a genuine interest in continuing to learn.
• You are naturally engaging and enjoy creating a connection with guests while staying attentive to the wider bar.
• You work cleanly, quickly and accurately and remain calm when service gets busy.
• You are a strong team player and communicate clearly with both bar and floor colleagues.
• You are flexible to work evenings, late nights, weekends and key hospitality moments.
