Ottolenghi Edinburgh marks the opening of our first restaurant in Scotland, inviting a skilled bartender to join a lively, busy bar that celebrates fresh, seasonal produce and hospitality. You will craft cocktails, coffees, and drinks while delivering warm, knowledgeable service to every guest.

We’re seeking someone with genuine passion for drinks, storytelling, and high standards who thrives in a collaborative team environment and helps create an exceptional guest experience at Ottolenghi

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a quality hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic alternatives.
• A genuine passion for drinks and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks to consistent standards.
• Deliver warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service to every guest at the bar.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, organisation, and presentation to a high standard.
• Manage bar stock, including ordering, rotation, and waste control.
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws and responsible service of alcohol.
• Collaborate with the wider front-of-house team to create a seamless guest experience.
• Share your enthusiasm for drinks through recommendations and storytelling.

Ottolenghi Edinburgh marks an exciting new chapter for us, our first restaurant in Scotland. Opening in autumn 2026, this will be a vibrant, busy restaurant with a genuine commitment to fresh, seasonal produce and sustainability at its heart.

What you’ll do
