Job summary

Hilton Cardiff is seeking a passionate Bartender to join our Truly Talented team. You will deliver exceptional hospitality, maintain service standards in the restaurant and bar, and learn our food and drink offering to delight guests.

The role requires enthusiasm for wines and signature cocktails, a genuine guest focus, and the ability to thrive in a busy, friendly team environment. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be ready to start immediately.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service is advantageous.
• Passion for food and drink, wine and cocktails knowledge is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and guest–facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards of hospitality and service in the restaurant and bar.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of wines, cocktails and speciality drinks and learn the menu.
• Engage with guests, build rapport with regulars and anticipate needs.
• Work effectively in a busy team and continue learning and developing.

Your role

The ideal person for this role will be a true epicurean – a food and drink enthusiast, who maintains a solid and up-to-date understanding of the restaurant and bar scene.

You will be expected to maintain the highest standards of hospitality and service in the restaurant and the bar.

Have in-depth knowledge of wines, cocktails and speciality drinks and take pride in learning our food menu as well. And enjoy engaging with guests, getting to know our regulars and learning to anticipate their needs.

You’ll work in a busy and hardworking team environment, where you’ll continually learn and develop.

You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
