Job summary

Benugo is seeking an experienced Barista for the Weston Library cafe at Oxford University. The role involves preparing and serving coffee and tea drinks, and maintaining expert knowledge of the menu while supporting the Head Barista in training the team.

You will work five days a week including weekends, with daytime shifts in a busy atrium setting. The position offers a competitive rate of £12.71 per hour, a full-time permanent contract, and benefits such as free lunches and staff discounts.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Barista to join the team at our cafe in the Weston Library at Oxford University.

The Cafe is situated in the majestic atrium of the Weston Library at Oxford University and offers a wide selection of soups, sandwiches, salads, hot dishes, cakes, pastries and hot drinks.

The successful candidate will be required to work 5 days per week including weekends, day time shifts.

Rate: £12.71 per hour

Contract: Full Time/ Permanent

About the Barista role:

Preparing and serving coffee and tea drinks

Developing and maintaining expert knowledge of coffee and tea served at Benugo

Supporting the Head Barista in training the team

Properly handling and maintainng all coffee equipment

Ensuring the customers experience is maintained at all times to the highest standard

Ensuring that food safety standards are always followed

• General cleaning duties and general tasks across the site

Previous experience preparing and serving drinks is prefered.
