Job summary

BaxterStorey is recruiting a Barista in Bristol to deliver exceptional coffee and service. You will greet customers warmly, prepare a range of beverages and foods, and share menu guidance with allergen awareness. The role emphasises teamwork, quality, and guest satisfaction across a collaborative hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Delight customers by greeting them in a friendly and professional manner.
• Efficiently prepare and serve a variety of coffee, beverages, food and other drinks using correct methods and standards.
• Share our menu story, provide recommendations, and follow allergen procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and surrounding areas.
• Follow health, safety and food safety guidelines and procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and restock supplies as needed.
• Use till systems for payments and orders.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues or complaints.
• Be part of the team on other tasks as needed.

Salary: £13.45 per hour 32 hours per week

Job Description

• Share the story of our menu, and provide recommendations to customers and be aware allergen procedures
• The pride in your workspace, maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and other surrounding areas in line with cleaning schedules, company and COSHH standards
• Follow all health and safety and food safety guidelines and procedures
• Monitor stock levels and restock supplies as needed
• Use till systems for taking payments and customer orders
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
• Be a part of the team assisting on other tasks as needed
