Job summary

BaxterStorey is hiring a Barista to welcome customers with warmth and professionalism, crafting a range of coffee and tea beverages to high standards. You’ll share menu knowledge, uphold allergen procedures, and keep the coffee bar clean and compliant with safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Prepare and serve a range of coffee beverages and teas to standard.

• Keep the coffee bar clean and well organised per schedules and COSHH.
• Follow health, safety and food safety guidelines.
• Monitor stock levels and restock when needed.
• Operate till and process payments accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues.
• Assist team with other duties as required.

Job Description

• Delight our customers by greeting them in a friendly and professional manner
• Efficiently prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks using the correct methods, equipment and to our standards
• Share the story of our menu, and provide recommendations to customers and be aware allergen procedures
• The pride in your workspace, maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and other surrounding areas in line with cleaning schedules, company and COSHH standards
• Follow all health and safety and food safety guidelines and procedures
• Monitor stock levels and restock supplies as needed
• Use till systems for taking payments and customer orders
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
• Be a part of the team assisting on other tasks as needed
