Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a Barista at our London Goodge Street site to serve premium coffees and support light food service in meeting rooms of a global consultancy firm's head office.

If you have at least 1 year of barista experience and a friendly, outgoing manner, you will delight customers, upsell menu items, handle till payments, and maintain a clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Delight our customers by greeting them in a friendly and professional manner
• Efficiently prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks using the correct methods, equipment and to our standards
• Share the story of our menu, and provide recommendations to customers and be aware allergen procedures
• The pride in your workspace, maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and other surrounding areas in line with cleaning schedules, company and COSHH standards
• Follow all health and safety and food safety guidelines and procedures
• Monitor stock levels and restock supplies as needed
• Use till systems for taking payments and customer orders
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
• Be a part of the team assisting on other tasks as needed

Location: Goodge Street, London

Salary: £14.80 per hour; £32,708 per annum

42.5 hours per week; 7.30am - 4.30pm

We're looking for a Barista to join our team! On a daily basis you'll be serving some of London's finest coffee to our customers within the London Head Office of a global consultancy firm, and also support with some food service in our meeting rooms. We're looking for a confident, chatty and outgoing Barista who's got a minimum of 1 year experience; you don't need to be an expert in latte art but basic hearts etc. would be great!
