Job summary

SSP Starbucks at Newcastle Airport is hiring for an Early Shift Barista on a fixed-term contract through November 2026. The role starts at 3am with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour, plus a £1.20 per hour night-incentive for hours between midnight and 6am, bringing the rate to £13.91 per hour.

You will work flexibly across weekdays, weekends and holidays, delivering friendly service, sharing product knowledge and maintaining a clean, welcoming unit in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of references and Criminal Record Check required.
• 18+ to perform certain tasks and handle alcohol.
• Previous experience in a coffee shop.

ABOUT YOU:

5 years of references and Criminal Record Check required.

• Due to some responsibilities within the Barista role, applicants will

need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts and be able to sell and handle alcohol.
