Job summary

Hotel Indigo K West Shepherd's Bush is seeking a Barista who brings energy, style, and hospitality to every pour. You’ll craft exceptional beverages and create memorable moments for guests on the bar and in the lounge.

You’ll mix drinks to high standards, welcome guests, manage stock and keep the bar clean, while collaborating with restaurant and events teams. The role supports flexible weekend shifts and offers perks and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista in a hotel, bar, or lifestyle venue.
• Knowledge of coffee.
• Confidence in guest interaction and upselling.
• Experience with stock control and bar hygiene standards.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 23kg and be on your feet for long shifts.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Understanding of compliance with local alcohol service laws.

Responsibilities

• Mix it up: Create and serve drinks to high standards, from classics to house specials, while engaging guests with confidence and flair.
• Create the vibe: Welcome guests warmly, recommend cocktails, highlight promotions, and set the tone for a relaxed and memorable experience.
• Own your space: Keep the bar stocked, clean, and organised; manage stock levels and equipment; and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Stay sharp: Handle transactions, process payments, and maintain accuracy and accountability throughout your shift.
• Be a team player: Work closely with the restaurant and events teams to support food service and ensure smooth guest experiences throughout the venue.
