Job summary

Dunelm is seeking Barista/Coffee Shop Assistants for Pausa in our Craigavon store. 8-24 hours per week, pay £8.00 per hour (16-17) and £12.71 per hour (18+).

You will be at the heart of Pausa, crafting drinks and delivering cheerful service to every customer. In this busy role you’ll learn our product range, serve hot and cold beverages, present food items with care, and uphold high cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Be customer obsessed and deliver joyful experiences to customers

• Ensure cooked items are served hot and safe
• Keep tables, kitchen, and service areas clean and sanitised
• Maintain high hygiene and safety standards in line with policies
• Deliver excellent customer service to support high CSAT scores
• Work with various ingredients including dairy, nuts and pork

Your local store is looking for multiple 8-24hrs per week Barista/Coffee Shop Assistants.

You’ll take pride in every cup you pour, build expert knowledge of our product range and meaningfully connect with our customers. Whether it’s a regular grabbing their usual or a first‑time visitor, you’ll make sure every customer leaves feeling better than when they arrived. It’s a busy, hands‑on role that takes energy, focus and a fair bit of graft.

What you’ll be doing

Whilst meeting high standards for Health and Safety and Food Hygiene, our Coffee Shop Assistants function as part of a tight knit team, working well under pressure and excelling in product knowledge to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.

• Be customer obsessed – consistently consider the impact of your actions on the customer experience, and strive to delivery joyful experiences in the most effective and thoughtful way
• Serving hot and cold beverages that delight our customers
• Dishing up our delicious savoury and sweet food items, ensuring presentation sparks joy
• Ensuring all cooked food is nice and hot so they can be enjoyed as intended
• Keeping the restaurant tables clear and sanitised as promptly as possible to maintain our customers high expectations
• Providing an exceptional standard of cleanliness throughout the kitchen, service area and restaurant
• Consistently deliver exceptional customer service to support strong CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) scores, ensuring every customer receives a welcoming, helpful, and memorable experience.
