Birkbeck, University of London is seeking a Bar and Catering Assistant to join our catering team. You will provide excellent service to students, staff and visitors in our bars and cafés, and work across the university’s hospitality environments.

You will pour and serve drinks, handle till transactions, maintain health and safety records, and keep the venues clean to a high standard. A flexible approach and teamwork are essential.

Formación

• Experience in bar/catering and serving drinks.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of health and safety protocols.
• Flexible with hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Provide efficient and friendly service at the university bars, cafes, and restaurants.
• Make hot and cold drinks, handle till transactions, stock deliveries, and maintain cleanliness.
• Support colleagues across cafes, bar and restaurant when needed in a small team.
