Job summary

SSP is hiring a Barista for Newcastle Airport on a fixed-term contract through March 2027. This full-time role pays £12.71 per hour, with an additional £1.20 per hour for hours between midnight and 6 am, bringing the rate to £13.91. Shifts run 3am–9pm, with flexible weekday/weekend coverage, including holidays.

You will engage customers, support team operations, and deliver an outstanding guest experience while upholding SSP’s service standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of references and Criminal Record Check required.
• Must be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks and be able to serve alcohol.

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour + as a little incentive, you will earn an extra £1.20 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6 am, bringing your rate of pay to £13.91 per hour.

Hours of operation are 3am to 9 pm.Working flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.
